I started on Posh to pay my sons medical bills from this past summer and the only thing I feel Ive gotten from Posh are migraines, a stronger eyeless prescription and the feeling of being isolated from my family. I not only lost a sale but they made sure that I cannot resell the item!!! I also received a blouse that was listed as free people. Study what you want to sell and buy it as low as you can and sell it for a profit of 150% of what you paid for it and you will sell it fast. Poshmark to me has the worst lowballers, some of the offers are beyond absurd. A crazy lady has been harassing me for over a week and I realized all the things you describe. I sent a complaint to poshmark service, but we all know how that goes. And I had no recourse at that point. At least I know my experience with Poshmark is far from unique and while my aggravation and losses are small compared to some of you, it reminds me that there are better uses of my time. I requested to see evidence pictures and posh sent them to me.instantly knew I was in for trouble with this one. I learned this my first month and never turned back. I am pregnant now and really emotional, I even cried like a child over this. I just sent a package on Friday and, I assume because of Christmas time, the post office hasnt scanned the item yet. I was tempted to get into and further explain to her t how retail works (does she realize ALL retail is marking things up 45-50%+) and that I list most items that are CURRENTLY in stores now, and Im listing at 1/2 price of retail and sometime well below my own wholesale cost! My addiction of buying has been ridiculous and I only ever had one issue and they did refund me- someone sent me a leather jacket that was dry rotted split cracked and shredded! When I saw the photos, it looks as if the stitching snapped as if they tried it on and broke some parts of the stitching, I only say this because the new loose stitching appeared at the waistband and knee. I am OCD, hyper observant and work i fashion. A buyer can go anywhere they choose to buy , but not so much for the seller , so sellers are a dime a dozen , but not so much a buyer .And they know a disgruntled buyer will probably never return , but if a seller has made some pretty good money they will blow off some steam , but will continue to stay . One of my favorite ways to shop on the app is to sort by "just in" when searching a category. $300 down the drain. They just said sorry the buyer has been refunded. End of story. So, putting it up to silver, it definitely wasnt silver and putting it next to something real gold, it wasnt quite that either. I just shipped out a new, unworn item to the buyer who obviously decided they didnt like it and claimed it was worn and with pilling! I had/have a $500 bag listed and the same buyer kept offering me $200 or less claiming it was reasonable which it obviously isnt and wanted to argue about it claiming it was too high and thats why I hadnt sold it. I really need to cancel it because I made a mistake in ordering. Buyers remorse is no reason to lie about an item. I have become frustrated quickly with Posh.
